Now + Later

Box

Something warm for right now.
Something warm for when they need it again.

See what’s inside

Grief comes in waves. So does this box.

The Now + Later Box was made for two waves — things to bake and enjoy today, and things waiting in the freezer for later. Every item arrives with a small note tied to it, because being seen matters as much as being fed.

What actually happens when they receive it

The box is designed
to work without instructions.

1

The box arrives. One line on the inside flap: “Someone is thinking of you.”

2

They open the card (optional). Your message, handwritten in ink on your chosen letterpress card. Include a memory of their loved one.

3

They unwrap each parcel. Every item has a small note card — name and prep on one side, a few words for the hard parts on the other.

4

They preheat the oven. Make the coffee. In 20 minutes the home fills with warm bread smells. They enjoy with butter, honey and preserves.

5

The lava cake and cookie dough go in the freezer. This lets them know you're there for more than one grief wave.

6

They reach the bottom of the box. A colorful, pre-stamped Thank You postcard—addressed to you—takes the pressure off.

What people say

“I had no idea what to do for my friend after she lost her sister, so I sent this box. Sometimes food says what you can’t.”

Nicole — Cambridge, MA

“I’ve sent flowers and gift cards before and they always felt basic. This box seems personal. I love the mini for each item. ”

Jessica— Charlotte, NC

“What I loved most is that nothing goes stale. Grief doesn’t follow a schedule and neither does this box.”

Sebastian — Evanston, IL

“The frozen lava cakes are genius. The idea that the box keeps giving long after it arrives makes it special.”

Caroline — Brooklyn, NY
