Suzanne Robitaille, Founder
A former journalist for WSJ.com and BusinessWeek, Suzanne expanded into digital marketing and communications more than 10 years ago. She is a content consultant at Archie Group, a reputation capital firm for financial services and fintech brands. Suzanne holds an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University and a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She resides in Connecticut with her husband, two children and stepson.
Jocelyn DeGroot, PhD, Grief Expert
Dr. DeGroot is a professor of Communication Studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She teaches classes on interpersonal and online communication, and the communicative aspects of death and dying. Her grief research has been included in Psychology Today, The Atlantic, Prevention Magazine, WebMD Magazine, PBS Nova Next, and The Huffington Post. Her opinion article, What should you say when someone you know is grieving, was recently published by The New York Times. She lives in Illinois with her husband and two kids.
